Invitation in Ventures: Healthcare_Uncovered

Healthcare_Uncovered began as a research project aimed at designing a product that would address the negative impacts of uncovered costs in the US healthcare system. Our core team to explore these uncovered costs included the leadership of the Access Project, the team at Good Capital and a several consultants with specific expertise.

We also held three formal summits that engaged a total of 53 experts and organizational leaders representing healthcare, finance, policy, and patient advocacy. Through the research process we engaged in hundreds of conversations with health economists, financing innovators, credit advisors, social entrepreneurs, hospital administrators, housing analysts, receivables industry experts, doctors, lawyers, community organizers and educators. 

Invitation into the Healthcare Uncovered process came in many forms, whether a request to attend a summit, or as an email asking for 30 minutes to chat about innovative financial tools, consumer perspective or any of the host of subtopics researched.  Thus, through strategic and broad invitations we created an effective network of engaged players, a network of advocates, reviewers, endorsers, customers, distributors, sponsors, and potential partners.
