Ventures

Social ventures are no longer relegated to scrappy start-ups, the big networks and the household brand names have waded in. As foundations and investors alike look to leverage the full spectrum of capital to achieve their outcomes. This milieu cries out for hybrid talent – those who can see the social system surrounding challenges and have a structure to launch ventures within it.

Ventures emerge from funny places with wonderfully inventive dynamics and diverse players at the table. We recognize this, celebrate it, and plan for the ensuing challenges appropriately. This is the world we know. We understand the players, and since we take risk in our own ventures, we are ourselves a part of the marketplace.
