Clients
We work with people and organizations that have bold ideas for changing the world. Ventures might be new, independent companies, or internal business lines: a philanthropist writing and publishing a book; a pension fund developing a new approach to health care; a new nonprofit shaping public discourse.
We tend to find our clients in the following areas:
Philanthropists and foundations, individuals in organizations who have committed a budget for new ventures, and a desire for hands-on engagement. Existing structures don't always give them the desired engagement or impact. We provide the flexible structure for them to build, play a role, and execute quickly on a vision.
Large nonprofit systems or public foundations, institutional leaders who have the space, budget, and scaleable networks required for innovation. They work in systems of nonprofits with a national scope and are eager to take calculated risks including profit-making ventures and new speeds of responsiveness. We have the experience to work within large systems and become a green field where they move forward new ideas.
Seasoned entrepreneurs, who have established initiatives, access to capital and networks, and some level of prestige and name recognition. We may provide distribution systems and expanded platforms for impact in scaling or spinning off a new venture. More often, these entrepreneurs serve as good partners for us in new ventures.
