Human Services Coalition

Criterion helped Human Services Coalition (HSC) to define and structure a new social venture that aims to improve civic life in Miami Dade County by building strength, passion and potential for impact in the community's people and organizations.  It will work through the empowerment of local non-profits and social entrepreneurs to succeed in their missions, through the appropriate involvement of corporations and professionals, and through the adaption of successful national programs to Miami Dade's unique needs.  The venture will build collaborations and partnerships to overcome current silos, broker various services to increase the capacity and efficiency of non-profits and social entrepreneurs, provide trainings, events, and other opportunities to increase awareness, skills, and networking, and to foster critical thinking.  The final product for our work was a business plan that analyzes, models, and tests a number of opportunities that this venture might embrace.
