Structure in Ventures: Healthcare_Uncovered
As social entrepreneurs we examine structures, models and capacities required to achieve the venture’s goals. In the case of H_U, we experimented with structures by engaging in business planning, assessing resource requirements, evaluating legal and governance structures, and performing due diligence.
We looked at hundreds of components
of the health care system and saw significant
potential in combining these components
in new and unique ways. Additionally, the
innovations that are happening in financial
services create new opportunities to manage the
transactions in the cash market. Finally, new
alliances both on-line and community based,
create new pools of consumers who are actively
participating in the cash market.
